The Story
An exciting Burundian coffee from AMOC in Rotterdam. The Long Miles Coffee Project has revolutionized specialty coffee in Burundi, working directly with farmers to improve quality and ensure fair prices.
Burundi shares a similar terroir with neighboring Rwanda, but produces distinctly different flavors. This Kayanza lot has a unique cola-like quality that sets it apart from other East African coffees.
The cup opens with red grape sweetness, followed by bright lime acidity and finishes with that distinctive cola note. It's complex, refreshing, and utterly memorable.
